February

We've hit February and I've taken a week off.

All you need is tea, and a couple of custard creams (35:365)

I don't actually feel like doing anything.

I mean, yesterday I was quite productive in a non-energetic kind of way. I went to the doctors, booked the dentist appointments, organised my iTunes library for the most part and culled/sorted three years worth of bookmarks in firefox. I also went through and tidied up the wardrobe which kinda looked like a tornado had hit it.

Today I am planning on hitting the rest of iTunes and starting the mammoth task that is culling and cleaning up iPhoto. And tonight I'm helping at the scout hut.

But, I'm not in the mood for anything other than some mooching in front of the computer organising, not really even any sewing, although I may put myself in front of the TV later with some cross stitch. (I started watching the Netflix original House of Cards, and I would like to see more before making a judgement.)

I have some vague plans to go car shopping this week, (put off by the amount of money I will need for insurance) and I am meeting my Mum in London for a girls shopping trip, but the rest of the week, which will fly by I am sure, is going to be a laid back affair. Although maybe this is not the best way to use a weeks holiday? Later this year I want to book some time off and go somewhere. Copenhagen probably, Stockholm maybe. It depends on prices and decisions. Just go for a weekend mid-week. See somewhere new.

For now, it's a week at home doing not a lot though.

What do you do with your time off?

  1. For years my time off has been spent doing short trips around the western U.S. but this year, I'm going to London! Very excited about it!
